In 1992 the late Andrew McGlennon opened his practice and in 1995 moved his office to Arthur Road in Wimbledon Park. An experienced property and probate lawyer, Andrew quickly built up a successful following.

In February 2004 William Essex joined the practice, and in July 2009 succeeded Andrew as the sole Principal of the practice.

The firm continues with an emphasis on wills, probate and property work. As well as wills, probate and residential conveyancing  as a member of the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners William specialises in leasehold renewal and extension work and freehold acquisition by leaseholders.

Gwyn Jones joined the Team in December 2015. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1984. Since qualifying as a solicitor, Gwyn has worked in Private Practice, most recently in Wimbledon Park, which he combined with work as a Consultant Solicitor to European Business Lawyers Miller Rosenfalck, Clerkenwell.

A former European Litigation Manager for Hitachi, and other In House Consultancy Experience in Commerce, Gwyn has bought, developed and sold an extensive portfolio of properties in London and the South East and worked at grass roots level for McAlpines, Laing, which provided him invaluable hands on experience relative to his extensive conveyancing experience.

Describing himself as a Generalist Lawyer with Specialisms in Commercial Law, Commercial Conveyancing, Commercial Litigation at all Court Levels, Residential Conveyancing, Gwyn is currently engaged in developing the Wills, life Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney areas of the Practice offering a competitive Professional Executor Package Option.

The latest addition to our team is Barbara Morris who deals with family law matters. Barbara was admitted as a solicitor in 1986 and practised in the City for ten years before taking a career break to have a family. Barbara has extensive experience of divorce and civil partnership dissolution and of financial and children applications. She also specialises in the increasingly popular area of pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.

Nasrin Moini underpins the firm by dealing with the accounts and administration and also assists in probate work. Our grateful thanks as well to Jennie Thomson and Tessa Wellington who provide reception duties for McGlennons.
