Take instructions and decide on who to appoint as attorneys and the powers they will have and who is to be notified of the application to register the power of attorney.

Prepare and arrange for Lasting Power of Attorney to be signed by the person making the power of attorney, the attorney or attorneys and the certificate provider.

Send in application and serve notice of application on your chosen person or people to be notified.

The confirmation that the lasting power of attorney has been registered will usually be sent about 10-12 weeks after the application was made.
